Whole Lamb Pricing and Processing Information:
A whole lamb is priced at $360-$560 (processing fee not included; see below). The price is based on $8.00 per pound of carcass weight, with weights ranging from 45 to 70 pounds. Processor will provide the exact hanging weight.
Included Cuts: Your order may include the following cuts (specific cuts cannot be guaranteed):
Up to four shanks
Shoulder (chops, roasts, and/or stew meat)
Rack of lamb (four 4-rib racks or two 8-rib racks)
Twelve to sixteen loin chops
Lamb sirloin (chops, roast, and/or kabob meat)
Two whole legs of lamb or four split legs
Ten to fourteen pounds of ground lamb
Processing Fee: The processing fee for a whole lamb is $250 through Mountain View Custom Meats, which will be paid directly to them upon pickup or before shipping.
How It Works:
Reserve your whole lamb with a $150 deposit.
Expert butchers from Mountain View Custom Meats will contact you to discuss your preferred cuts, or you can choose from their recommended standard cuts.
Once your order is ready and final payment is processed, you can pick up your meat directly from Mountain View Custom Meats in CDA, Idaho. We are currently serving customers local to the area, but if you are interested in overnight shipping, please let us know, and we can add the extra cost to your purchase. A whole lamb provides 35-55 pounds of meat (depending on hanging weight) and typically fits into two brown grocery bags for volume reference. Cuts are individually wrapped, vacuum sealed or packaged in tubes (depending on the cut), and labeled for your convenience.
